Overview Position: Fabrication/Assembly - Wichita, KS Only qualified candidates with the below experience will be considered for this position. Responsibilities Use and interpret drawings, inspection manuals and specifications, shop mathematics precision measuring instruments, specialized inspection machines, tools and equipment necessary to accomplish work assignments. Experience working with Quality Management System Policies and Procedures Working knowledge of Company Policies, Procedures and Specifications Overall working knowledge of production processes Coordinate and accomplish work assignments by contacting other company organizations or customer representatives as required Good communication skills (written and verbal) Good computing skills Operate testing machines, calculate and record results Maintain certifications as required Plan own sequence of operations Follow Inspection (shop) procedures to accept or reject processes/parts/assemblies Verify that tools are qualified Prepare and maintain Quality records Work across equivalent or lower level Inspector job codes as required Cross-train in equivalent level Assembly, Composite, Metals, Process and Systems/Payload Structures Mechanic classifications Qualifications Required Prompt and on time daily Ability to obtain all required training certifications and maintain certifications while on assignment Must be available to work any shift (1st, 2nd and 3rd shift) Available for periods of heavy overtime 5 years’ experience in aerospace airframe assembly inspection Blueprint reading experience MS Office and SAP experience Experience writing NCRs (Tags) Preferred SAP experience Boeing 737 Airframe/Fuselage Experience Aviation Personnel currently offers .63 cents per mile up to $252.00 Travel Pay on your first check, Plus a $100.00 longevity Monthly bonus!
