Prevent illness and injury through effective nursing practices. Alleviate suffering through diagnosis and treatment of human responses. Advocate for individuals and families in care settings. Ensure compliance with New York State Nurse Practice Act and UHS policies. Promote a caring and healing environment for patient‑centered care. Requirements Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing required; Bachelor’s of Science degree in Nursing preferred. Experience: Previous clinical nursing experience in an acute care or ambulatory setting preferred. Licenses & Certifications: Current New York State Registered Nurse License required. CCRN preferred. Relevant skills certification (e.g., ACLS, PALS, TNCC) as required by home unit assigned preferred.
