People & Culture CoordinatorThe People & Culture Coordinator will have the opportunity to contribute directly to our culture, employee engagement, communication, onboarding, development, and the programs that support our team.CORE CULTURE EXPECTATIONSPromotes DeBordieu Club's legacy of warm genuine hospitality while upholding and ensuring compliance with all company and departmental policies and procedures.Consistently aspires to fulfill our core Company values (Communication, Community, Trust, Teamwork, Passion).Delivers hospitable and stellar customer service.Works well with others and is capable of being a team player.Positive attitude that is accompanied with polite and respectful demeanor.Approachable, dependable, positive, organized, and comfortable interacting with employees at every level of the organizationJOB KNOWLEDGE, CORE COMPETENCIES AND EXPECTATIONSSpeaks to colleagues and management using clear, appropriate, and professional language that isConsistently positive and respectful.Handles sensitive information on our employees with confidentiality and integrity.Demonstrates exceptional interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.Assists with managing employee files with the utmost attention to detail and accuracy.Proficient use of computer operating systems and office suites including Microsoft and HR-related database and software.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESCoordinate the complete new-hire onboarding process, including required documentation, system setup, communication, and preparation for an employee's first day.Coordinate and facilitate new-hire orientation, helping new employees understand DeBordieu's culture, expectations, policies, benefits, and commitment to exceptional hospitality.Create and distribute our weekly employee newsletter and other employee communications.Assist with the coordination of content and information for the Club's member newsletter.Coordinate the Club's participation in job fairs, college recruiting events, and community recruiting initiatives.Support employee engagement initiatives, recognition activities, special events, and programs that help make DeBordieu a great place to work.Assist with planning and coordinating our annual Employee Wellness Fair and other wellness initiatives.Assist with HR, payroll, benefits, workers' compensation, 401(k), and other internal or external audits.Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR documentation.Assist with benefits administration and employee benefit questions.Support recruiting efforts, including job postings, applicant communication, interview coordination, and pre-employment processes.Assist with training and development initiatives, employee meetings, and other People & Culture programs.Provide general HR support to employees and managers while maintaining professionalism, confidentiality, and excellent customer service.Assist the Director of People & Culture with HR projects, compliance initiatives, reporting, employee relations, and other departmental responsibilities as needed.QUALIFICATIONS :Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.Two - three years experience in an HR support role or administrative position preferred.Paylocity experience preferred.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS software.High level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion in handling confidential information.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build positive relationships with colleagues.PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENTReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Occasionally required to stand for long periods and walks, climbs stairs, balances, stoops, kneels, crouches, bends, stretches and twists or reaches.Must be able to reach, bend, stoop, stand, and lift up to 40 pounds.Continuous repetitive motions.Moderate noise level in the work environment (e.g. business office with computers, printers, copy and fax machines, moderate traffic).Must be able to handle hot and cold interior and outdoor conditions.Indoor and outdoor - ability to tolerate all seasonal weather conditions.Must be able to handle a fast-paced, high-end, sophisticated environment.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTSHigh School diploma or GED required.Country Club or Golf Club experience is a plus but not required.Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.Salary Description DOE
