IT Specialist

Hwashin America is a global company specializing in the production of automotive chassis and body parts, headquartered in Korea, with subsidiaries in Brazil, India, China, and Vietnam.

Main Duties
• Ensure the stable operation of IT systems in a manufacturing environment, including servers, networks, and industrial automation systems.
• Respond to IT-related issues, diagnose problems, analyze downtime, and carry out improvement activities.
• Perform regular backups of databases related to servers, network equipment, and plant automation/production systems.
• Manage and maintain NAS servers, industrial PCs, plant monitoring systems, and network components. Qualifications and Required Competencies • Basic English communication skills for smooth collaboration with local and international teams.
Position-specific Competencies
• Understanding of IT and system operations in a manufacturing environment, with a responsible and proactive work attitude.
Job Competencies
• Ability to quickly troubleshoot IT-related issues and analyze root causes.
Qualifications
• Minimum 1 year of experience in IT system management in an industrial or manufacturing environment. Required Knowledge
• Understanding of server management, networking (TCP/IP, VLAN, VPN), and data security principles.
• Basic knowledge of Python, SQL, and LabVIEW for data collection, automation, and analysis.
• Understanding of industrial communication (OPC, Modbus, EtherNet/IP) and ability to integrate with plant systems.
• Experience in troubleshooting and maintaining IT systems in an industrial environment. Working Conditions
