Jr Cyber Security SecOps Administrator

Geospatial and Cloud Analytics (GCA) is seeking a Cyber Security SecOps Administrator to join our team. The role focuses on managing and maintaining the security infrastructure, overseeing daily cybersecurity operations, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards. Duties to Include Implement STIG releases across a variety of operating systems and applications. Track and remediate IAVM vulnerabilities. Manage ACAS vulnerability reports and remediate as required. Perform software upgrades, patch installs, and firmware upgrades. Diagnose and troubleshoot problems related to OS, hardware, network, and related software. Provide daily written and oral communications with coworkers and leadership. Maintain and harden servers per periodic SCAP and STIG requirements. Troubleshoot and configure servers in a virtual environment using Vsphere. Create scripts in various shells to automate daily and periodic tasks. Document work, update/create Standard Operating Procedures, and brief staff on various tasks. Required Skills DoD 8570 – IAT Level II (GSEC, Security+ CE, SSCP, or CCNA-Security). Secret Clearance required for start; eligible to obtain Top Secret/SCI. 7+ years of experience in systems administration. Experience with the DoD system accreditation process. Experience with STIG checklist review, SCAP scans, and implementation. BS degree (additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree).
