Electrical Assembler Technician
Responsible for performing electrical installations on manufactured equipment, troubleshooting electrical systems, diagnosing failures, and completing repairs. The ideal candidate has a strong electrical and manufacturing background, can read prints and follow standards, and works effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
Primary Responsibilities
Install, repair, and replace components in controllers, switchboards, switches, conductors, and other electrical devices
Test solid-state circuitry to identify defective parts in digital and analog equipment
Install enhancements and upgrades to electrical subsystems
Program VFDs, PLCs, and other control systems
Read and interpret drawings, specifications, and work instructions
Install components using current assembly practices
Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation
Complete required assembly documentation
Follow all workplace safety procedures
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Minimum two years of electrical experience
An accredited certificate in low- or medium-voltage equipment preferred
Manufacturing and/or oil & gas maintenance experience a plus
Experience working with low- and medium-voltage electrical equipment
Ability to calibrate, test, troubleshoot, and install instrumentation and electrical equipment
Ability to read blueprints and electrical prints
Strong time management skills in a manufacturing environment
Ability to safely use hand tools, PPE, and follow all safety procedures
Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Adaptable in a changing, fast-paced environment
Team-oriented with strong communication skills

Schedule: Monday to Friday from 6 AM to 5 PM (with a 1-hour paid lunch), Saturdays as needed
Pay: Hourly $20 to $40 an hour
Required qualifications or experience: The electrical assembler tech needs to be able to read electrical schematics, be able to make basic electrical terminations, and can follow basic troubleshooting steps.
