As an Unarmed Security Officer at a retail distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support access control and screening activities. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and use technology to document observations. Pay Rate: $17.92 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the distribution center, including warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor entry and exit activity for employees, visitors, contractors, and vehicles; verify credentials and direct individuals according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical events, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts.
• Help to deter unauthorized access, theft, and other security-related concerns by maintaining a visible presence and reporting unusual activity promptly.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
