Contract | Days | Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (5x8-hour shifts) | On-site | Call requirements may apply

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a broad range of nuclear medicine procedures across a patient population spanning pediatrics to geriatrics, including HIDA scans, bone scans, lymphoscintigraphy, gastric emptying studies, brain death studies, myocardial perfusion SPECT, I-123 scan/uptake, I-131 whole body scans, I-131 ablations (under 30 mCi), renal scans with or without Lasix, and parathyroid studies
• Operate and document within unit systems including Epic, Pyxis, and PACS
• Adhere to scrub color requirements (black, gray, or purple) and all facility dress code policies
• Be available for call shifts as needed: Monday – Friday 4:00 PM – 10:00 PM; Saturday – Sunday 8:00 AM – 10:00 PM (approximately 1–2 days per week and every fourth weekend)
• Participate in holiday coverage per facility policy; travelers are expected to work major holidays that fall within their assignment period
• May be required to travel to an additional nearby outpatient location to perform STAT inpatient studies as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active NMTCB certification and/or ARRT (NM) certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of nuclear medicine experience preferred; first-time travelers are accepted
• Proficiency with Epic, Pyxis, and PACS required
• All requested time off (maximum 7 days per contract) must be finalized at time of submission; no RTO or schedule changes can be requested post-offer or during orientation week
• Full compliance with onboarding requirements must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing; all compliance documents are due the Tuesday prior to start
• Local candidates are welcome and accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience performing the full range of nuclear medicine procedures listed, including advanced studies such as myocardial perfusion SPECT and I-131 ablations
• Familiarity with multi-site or high-volume imaging environments
• Ability to adapt to varying patient acuity levels across a broad age range
