Established in its current form in 1998, ALTURA continues to expand access to quality care in Tulare and surrounding areas. Role Description The Family Physician will provide comprehensive primary care to individuals and families across the lifespan in an outpatient community health setting. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include conducting patient assessments, diagnosing and managing acute and chronic conditions, performing preventive care and wellness visits, and coordinating care with ALTURA’s specialty, dental, and behavioral health services. The physician will support patient needs within the scope of primary care, provide evidence‑based treatment plans, and ensure appropriate documentation within electronic health records. Additional duties include participating in quality improvement initiatives, supervising or collaborating with other clinical team members as appropriate, and contributing to patient education and community health activities. This is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Tulare, CA. Qualifications Demonstrated clinical proficiency in Family Medicine, with experience providing care across the lifespan. Strong background in Primary Care and Medicine, including management of chronic diseases and preventive care. Ability to address Urgent Care needs within a primary care setting, including triage and stabilization of acute conditions. Commitment to Community Health, including experience or interest in working with diverse, underserved, and migrant populations. Current MD or DO degree and completion of an accredited Family Medicine residency program. Board certification or board eligibility in Family Medicine preferred. Unrestricted California medical license (or eligibility to obtain) and current DEA registration. Strong interpersonal, communication, and team collaboration skills, with a patient‑centered and culturally responsive approach. Basic proficiency with electronic health records and comfort working in a multidisciplinary, value‑based care environment. Spanish language skills or experience in bilingual settings are beneficial but not required. #J-18808-Ljbffr
