Plant Electrician

Location: Destrehan, Louisiana, United States Requisition Number: 44822 Overview The Plant Electrician is responsible for the electrical maintenance of the Destrehan, LA soybean processing facility. The candidate must actively participate in the company's safety policy and maintain a safe work environment for self and all employees. The role also requires demonstrating a commitment to supply safe food and maintaining a food safety culture within the site, while complying with customer and regulatory requirements. Position Details Night shift (6:00pm - 6:00am) on a 2/2/3 schedule Overtime, call out availability, on-call rotation, and/or straight days are required Pay: $31.00 an hour Bunge offers a variety of benefits including health and wellness plans, retirement contribution and paid vacation/holidays. What You\'ll Be Doing Responsible for plant wide electrical troubleshooting and repair (electrical circuits of 480VAC or less) Perform general electrician skills including but not limited to running conduit and sizing and pulling wires Follow, interpret, and read blueprints and schematics Inspect for conformity to industry standards or specifications Troubleshoot and repair variable frequency drive (VFD) and AC/DC systems Troubleshoot and repair electrical components of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic industrial equipment Maintain electrical switchgear Lay out and install conduit Working knowledge of thermography Other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications Good written and verbal communication Ability to work in a team environment and maintain good working relationships with other personnel Ability to work in a safety conscious and highly quality controlled environment Preferred Qualifications 3 years of industrial electrical experience Associate degree and/or technical certification PLC experience HVAC experience #J-18808-Ljbffr Bunge
