Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients through comprehensive assessments to determine their physical therapy needs and create tailored treatment plans in consultation with referring physicians.
• Implement evidence-based treatment protocols that encompass a variety of specialties, such as orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine rehabilitation.
• Provide hands-on therapy sessions that utilize advanced techniques to promote recovery and functional independence.
• Educate patients and their caregivers about therapeutic exercises and strategies to enhance recovery outcomes while fostering effective communication.
• Utilize state-of-the-art equipment and technology in delivering treatment, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and best practices.
• Document patient progress meticulously to ensure compliance with treatment goals and facilitate continuous improvement in care delivery.
• Collaborate regularly with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals, to optimize patient care.
• Meet established utilization and productivity benchmarks while striving to exceed patient satisfaction metrics.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patients range from athletes requiring rehabilitation from sports injuries to children receiving treatment for developmental disabilities. Qualifications

• Must possess a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited APTA or CAPTE-approved program.
• Current valid state license to practice Physical Therapy in New Jersey.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from an approved organization.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are imperative for successful patient interactions.
• Proficiency in word processing and other computer skills relevant to documentation and reporting.
• Ability to build strong, therapeutic relationships with patients to promote their engagement and motivation during treatment.
• A genuine desire to connect with individuals and contribute positively to their health journeys.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in a rehabilitation, orthopedic, or sports medicine setting is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with specialized therapeutic techniques or modalities related to patient care enhancements.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Prior experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits
