About the Position

- Only will consider physicians

- Must be Internal medicine trained physician with primary care experience to support our team in a precepting role.

- Patient load detail: ~18-25 patients per half day

- Hours: 1 pm-5 pm.

- Call expected: shared call every 3rd week. Resident will take the first call. If they need to precept then they will reach out to the attending via tiger text or telephone

Role:

- Teaching and supervising residents during patient encounters

- Examining patients jointly with residents (and directly with interns from July through December)

- Providing constructive verbal feedback and completing written evaluations in a timely manner

- Overseeing inbox management, prescription requests, and related administrative tasks
