Packaging/Sanitation Technician 
Location: Hillsboro, ND 
Salary Range: $20.00 to $22.00 per hour

About Kelly:
Kelly is seeking a dedicated Packaging/Sanitation Technician to support the daily delivery of our client's production schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

Production Operations:

• Assist in daily scheduled production activities to ensure efficient and productive workflow across all areas.
• Bag and tote products.
• Label products accurately with product number, name, lot, date, and other required information.
• Ensure product integrity after bagging by proper stacking, shrink wrapping, using covers, and warehouse labeling.
• Monitor equipment and promptly report issues to the supervisor.
• Maintain cleanliness and appearance of the facility—both inside and out.

Sanitation & Safety:

• Perform sanitation duties including sweeping, mopping, shoveling, dusting, and vacuuming as needed both inside and outside the facility.
• Adhere to Kelly’s safety policies and support the company’s safety program.

Quality Assurance:

• Follow all quality standards and ensure proper storage of products.
• Monitor product quality and immediately report any deviations to minimize rejects.

General Duties:

• Complete additional projects or tasks as directed by the Responsible Manager.
• Follow all company policies related to safety, hygiene, and housekeeping.
• Take reasonable care for the health and safety of yourself and others.
• Report workplace hazards to your immediate manager.
• Foster a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Strong cooperative and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to:
  • Lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
  • Stand for extended periods.
  • Work in dusty conditions and in extreme temperatures.
  • Open traps on trucks and trailers.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
While performing duties, employees may be exposed to machinery, moving parts, grain dust, and fumes, all potentially requiring PPE. Work may occur in adverse weather conditions or under high noise levels requiring hearing protection. Office work may be required under standard conditions.
The position requires prolonged standing, walking, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling. Must be able to lift or move up to 75 pounds occasionally. Visual acuity for close-up work and ability to handle extended seasonal hours are also required.
