We are seeking a skilled and experienced Landscape Shop Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of a wide range of landscaping equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime. This role requires a strong understanding of both small engine and heavy equipment mechanics, as well as a commitment to safety and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance on various landscaping equipment, including but not limited to:
- Mowers (walk-behind, zero-turn, riding)
- Trimmers and edgers
- Leaf blowers
- Chainsaws
- Trailers and related attachments
- Skid steers are a plus!
- Diagnose mechanical issues accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed.
- Order and manage parts inventory to ensure availability for upcoming repairs.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding equipment status and repair timelines.
