In what is a newly created opportunity owing to explosive growth (both from a new product perspective + geographical coverage), we're looking for a technically strong accountant with an exceptional grounding in ASC 606 who is an established business partner cross-functionally, with a particular focus on Product & Engineering, Sales, Legal and FP&A.

Key responsibilities to include:

• Own the monthly revenue close process
• Act as the revenue SME, working closely with Sales & Legal functions by providing ASC 606 guidance on customer contracts
• Partner closely with Product & Engineering around new product launches from a revenue accounting perspective
• Prepare revenue workpapers
• Continue to improve and automate revenue processes, utilising AI at every opportunity

Candidate profile:

• Active CPA (Strong preference for Big 4)
• Significant experience on partnering with Commercial / Sales / Legal teams on new and renewal contract reviews
• Hyper-growth late stage scaleup experience (preferably pre-IPO)
• Strong ASC 606 grounding
• SaaS and usage/consumption-based revenue models
• Experienced with building automation-first processes and controls
• Established and credible business partner who is able to advise, challenge and influence
• Ability to work autonomously and independently
