Senior Financial Analyst

Our client is a stable, well-established financial services leader on Long Island looking to hire a Senior Financial Analyst for its FP&A team. This is a highly visible role with direct exposure to senior management and a strong opportunity to be mentored, build your skills and grow your career. What you'll do Build and maintain multi-year financial models (P&L, balance sheet and cash flow) with multiple scenarios Prepare quarterly forecasts and track the key drivers behind results Run "what-if" and other ad hoc analyses to support strategic decisions Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting and analysis for senior management Perform variance analysis and cost allocations Support process improvements and finance system upgrades What you'll bring Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting 4–5+ years of professional experience, including at least 2 years of hands-on financial modeling Advanced Excel modeling skills; experience using automation or AI tools to work with data is a plus Solid knowledge of GAAP and financial statements Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle a lot of data accurately Able to manage multiple deadlines and take ownership of your work Comfortable working with people at all levels of the organization Financial services experience preferred but not required Why this role Stable, established leader on Long Island Excellent exposure to senior management Real mentorship and room to learn and grow Schedule Onsite 4 days per week
