Obstetrician/Gynecologist

We are seeking a Physician specializing in Obstetrics/Gynecology for a 59-day assignment in New Mexico, starting Sep 27, 2024. This role involves varied 24-hour call coverage and M-F clinic shifts, where you will provide comprehensive OB/GYN care, manage a diverse range of cases, and perform both routine and complex procedures. Join our team and utilize your expertise in a supportive clinical environment. Practice Info Setting: Clinic and Call. Patient Volume: 1-5 deliveries per week. Staffing Mix: 2 OBGYNs, 1 PRN APP, MA, RN, and a care manager. EMR System: Epic. Responsibilities Provide 24-hour call coverage. Conduct M-F 8a-5pm clinic shifts. Manage both OB and GYN cases. Perform FHR interpretation and OB ultrasounds, including performance and interpretation for level 1/screening. Conduct Amniocentesis. Handle routine and complicated deliveries. Perform repair of 3rd and 4th degree lacerations. Manage office, minor gynecology, and surgical gynecology cases. Call Schedule: Yes, 24-hour call coverage (8a-8a shifts). Qualifications Required Board Certifications: Obstetrics and Gynecology. Other Required Certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP). Laser certification preferred.
