Per Diem Float Pharmacist

Primary Duties and Responsibilities You will be responsible for preparing and dispensing many types of medications, providing clinical services, and ensuring safe medication management. You may float at various locations within the Department of Pharmaceutical Services, including NPH and CHS Pharmacy. You will collaborate closely with other members of the health care team to help prevent inappropriate or misuse of medications. Adhering to departmental policies and procedures, you will deliver a wide range of clinical services and dispense medications to the patients directly. Hourly Salary: $108.48 (Standard Per Diem Rate) Bargaining Unit: HX-UPTE Job Qualifications We’re seeking a dedicated clinical professional with: Pharm D. degree and current CA Pharmacy license (required). ASHP-accredited residency (preferred). 2 years inpatient pharmacy experience (highly preferred). Exceptional communication, interpersonal, organizational and follow-through skills. Knowledge of and ability to perform age specific and disease specific pharmacokinetic calculations. Ability to compound intravenous admixtures and other sterile products (preferred).
