CT Technologist Mount Clemens, MI Specialty: CT Position Type: Travel Contract Length: 13 weeks Pay: $1990 - $2397 | Shift: 3x12 nights Are you a skilled CT Technologist looking for your next travel adventure? Do you excel in providing top-notch diagnostic imaging services in a dynamic healthcare setting? Join our team and bring your expertise to a facility that values your skills and dedication. As a CT Technologist, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and performing computerized tomography scanning procedures. Your responsibilities will include:
- Setting up and monitoring CT equipment for each patient, ensuring safety and accuracy.
- Transferring and positioning patients using proper techniques and applying immobilization devices as needed.
- Obtaining vital patient information, including allergies and medical history, and preparing and injecting contrast media when necessary.
- Creating and developing images for permanent records and maintaining image quality according to department guidelines.
- Organizing daily patient schedules and maintaining cleanliness and supply levels in the work environment.
- Assisting radiologists and other specialists in performing specialized procedures and providing emergency medical support, including CPR.
- Ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations set by the Michigan Department of Public Health.
- Participating in quality assessments and continuous improvement initiatives within the department.
- 2+ years of CT experience
- Experience with Phillips equipment
- Traveler experience preferred
- BLS and ARRT certifications
- Need 2 years experience in setting
