These include LPT Nozzles, HPT Nozzles, and HPT Hangars. You'll find state of the art technologies in CNC, EDM, and Coating as well as advanced technology development within our new Tech Lab.Essential ResponsibilitiesWork from process instruction sheets, drawings, and technical documents to ensure product quality.Utilize general and specialized knowledge to perform tasks that meet all quality assurance standards.Measure work using scales, micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, surface plates, and surface testers.Ensure smooth product flow in the repair process.Set up, adjust, verify programming, and operate CNC machines to perform complex operations on a diverse line of work.Maintain close tolerances and surface finishes as required.Operate CNC machines of various types and brands.Maintain a clean work area and assist in department housekeeping efforts.Adhere to all safety procedures, including lock-out/tag-out, reporting safety concerns, using appropriate PPE, and following all safety practices.Assist in training new associates.Qualifications/RequirementsHigh School Diploma or GED.Associate's college degree in Manufacturing Technology related program; or 24 college credit hours in manufacturing technology related program; or completion of a CNC Operator Apprenticeship with a minimum of 288 hours; or hold a National Institute of Metal Working Skills - CNC Mill Operator CAR certification; or 1+ years of prior CNC machine operator experienceWilling and able to work overtime and any shift.Ability to read, write, and speak English; interpret and follow written procedures (e.g., Aviation Work Instructions), complete documentation (e.g., routers), and follow verbal instructions.Proficiency in using measuring instruments such as scales, micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, surface plates, and surface testers.This role may encounter high risk or hazardous operations and/or include working shifts beyond a standard workweek.
