Staff Accountant – Expense & Budget Support Location: Marina One, 2525 South Shore Blvd, League City, Texas (On site) Reports to: Director, Corporate Analysis – Expense Accounting Job Description Staff Accountant supporting expense accounting, journal entries, reconciliations, and budget‑related activities. Responsibilities Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and expense reports with accuracy and attention to detail. Help analyze company expenses and support financial reporting across departments and business areas. Research variances and discrepancies and partner with team members to resolve issues. Assist with budgeting activities, expense reviews, and planning for future budget cycles. Support intercompany accounting processes and other month‑end close responsibilities. Collaborate with Finance and Accounting teammates on process improvements and special projects. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered. Foundational accounting knowledge, including journal entries and reconciliations. Internship, coursework, or early professional experience in accounting, finance, or bookkeeping is a plus. Strong Excel skills and comfort learning new systems and processes. Detail‑oriented, dependable, and willing to ask questions and learn from others.
