Beautician (Contract Position)

Crowne Health Care is currently accepting applications for a Beautician within our long-term care and rehabilitation facility specializing in geriatric care. This position requires dependability, professionalism, flexibility, accountability, and a positive attitude. The ideal candidate enjoys working with seniors and takes pride in helping residents look and feel their best.

Position Details

• Part-Time
• Contract Position
• Flexible, self-scheduled designated day(s)
• Typical earnings range from $15-$60 per resident , depending on services provided

Qualifications

• Current Beautician/Cosmetology License in good standing
• Must meet all applicable state licensing and certification requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Previous experience or completion of an approved cosmetology training program preferred
• Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English
• Positive attitude and compassionate approach toward the elderly population
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Provide salon services for residents, including:
• Shampooing
• Set and roll
• Blow drying and styling
• Haircuts
• Coloring
• Perms
• Pressing and curling
• Shaving and grooming
• Manicures
• Pedicures
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized salon environment
• Schedule appointments and maintain service logs and records as needed
• Foster a positive physical, social, and emotional environment for residents
• Build meaningful relationships with residents and contribute to their overall well-being and quality of life
