Will travel for 3 weeks straight and then 1 week off.Why You'll Want This JobTravel the country while working on advanced CNC equipmentStrong work-life balance and flexible time-off policiesComprehensive PTO and paid holidays from day oneMedical, Dental & Vision Insurance100% Company-Paid Life InsuranceShort-Term Disability Coverage401(k) with Company ContributionLong-term career growth with an expanding organizationWork with cutting-edge industrial automation and controlsWhat You'll Be DoingAs a CNC Field Service Technician, you'll be the expert customers rely on to keep their equipment operating at peak performance.Travel to customer facilities throughout the U.S. to perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.Conduct preventive maintenance inspections on CNC and automated manufacturing equipment.Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control system issues.Troubleshoot PLCs, VFDs, motors, sensors, drives, and industrial controls.Install replacement components and perform machine adjustments to maximize performance and reliability.Capture machine backups and document service work accurately.Identify wear items and potential failures before they become costly breakdowns.Provide customers with recommendations to improve equipment uptime and productivity.Complete service reports, travel documentation, and expense reporting through company software.Work closely with engineering, parts, and service support teams to resolve technical issues.Build strong customer relationships through professional communication and technical expertise.What We're Looking ForCNC maintenance or field service experience.Strong electrical troubleshooting skills.Experience with PLCs, VFDs, motors, sensors, and industrial controls.Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation.Understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis abilities.Excellent communication and customer service skills.Ability and willingness to travel extensively.Job Type & Location: This is a Permanent position based out of Monee, IL.Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $100000.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Will work 3 weeks on and have 1 week off.
