Operations Data Analyst, Senior Oakland, CA- HYBRID 6 Months Pay: 55 - $65 per hourLocal candidates only. The role is hybrid with once a month onsite in OGOTOP THINGS:1) Coding skills (Python, SQL, etc.)2) Experience developing ETL pipelines3) Demonstrated communication skills.Role Summary:Analytics support for the clients NPA and zonal electrification programs, an initiative focused on accelerating building electrification to avoid gas infrastructure investments and support long-term decarbonization goals.Key Responsibilities:ETL Pipeline Creation: Develop and maintain an extract-transform-load data pipeline across multiple different core data environments to screen and prioritize electrification opportunities across the clients system.New Data Sources: Provide recommendations to enhance data pipeline with new data sources and improved data processes.Process Automation: Create automated data routines and processes for reporting and data delivery, ensuring accurate data manipulation and data cleansing.Dashboards and Ad Hoc Analysis: Develop and communicate clear, concise, and actionable data analyses in the form of dashboards or ad hoc reports.Education Minimum:BA/BS Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other related field or equivalent work experienceMinimum Experience:4 years of related work experienceKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities (Desired):Advanced skill in Python (or similar programming languages) for data analysis and automation. Advanced skill in SQL and database query languages for extracting, transforming, and analyzing data from data environments. Advanced skill in designing and maintaining ETL processes for large datasets. Experience with data visualization and dashboarding tools. Experience in GIS preferred.
