Performance Media Associate (Paid Social)

Open position in St. Louis, MO; Portsmouth, NH; or Kansas City, MO. Hybrid work schedule: 2 days in the office, 3 days working from home. Overview The Performance Media Associate (Paid Social) is responsible for supporting our Planners and PPC specialists in the day-to-day. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and adept at managing tasks to keep projects on track. This role reports to the Associate Director, Paid Search & Social. Essential Duties And Responsibilities (Other Duties May Be Assigned) Responsible for the day-to-day coordination, execution, and management of media plans and schedules and working closely with Planners to learn campaign needs to function proactively versus reactively. Requires fluency in ad-planning tools, ad-servers, and reporting systems once trained. Ensures Planners receive requested information from partners on time and follows up when necessary. Holds Planners accountable for keeping the status of RFPs, proposals, and orders current in the ad-planning tool. Creates spec documents and UTMs for Planners review/approval and traffics to Producers. Spearheads creative review, campaign set-up, and trafficking along with partner QA and ad‑ops access/reporting set-up. Verifies appropriate data filters and reporting set-up across partners/channels and develops and maintains a client-friendly screenshot/proof‑of‑purchase deck with campaign ads. Works with multiple analytics sources to ensure correct data is used for Planner analysis, optimization, and scheduled reporting. Manages ad-planning tools, servers, and reporting systems efficiently. Ensures timely information delivery to Planners and PPC Specialists. Maintains accurate data filters, reporting setups, and client-friendly decks. Creates campaign documents, facilitates trafficking, and oversees creative review. Coordinates with PPC Specialists for day-to-day campaign execution. Ensures completeness of campaign implementations and accountability of specialists. Utilizes multiple analytics sources for analysis and optimization. Researches media and PPC trends for strategic planning and presentations. Gathers data to equip specialists for strategic recommendations. Maintains proficiency in PPC platforms and media technology stack. Understands and manages tools including Campaign Manager, Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, etc. Monitors expenses on paid social platforms for accurate billing. Proactively manages tasks to keep projects on track. Speaks budgets change . Makes budget adjustment recommendations based on campaign performance insights. Experience with Meta and Google products in general; Meta Ads Manager, Campaign Manager, Google Tag Manager (GTM), Google Analytics (GA), Google Ads is a plus. Education & Experience 0–2 years of experience. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
