Quick Facts: Location: 5419 North Lovington Highway, Hobbs, NM 88240 Start Date: 08/06/2026 End Date: 10/20/2026 Shift: 24-Hour Beeper Call, inpatient coverage Hours/Week: See specific shifts below Employment Type: Contract (Locums) License/Certs: Active medical license, DEA, BLS, PAL, ACLS, ATLS Experience: Board Certified or within 3-5 years of residency, suitable candidates with current certifications and skills Pay & Benefits: Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00 (pay package discussed upon application) Benefits include: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time according to all applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable What You’ll Do: Provide inpatient pediatric coverage on a 24-hour call basis Respond to calls and callbacks during assigned shifts Support the hospital's pediatric team with acute cases and consultations Maintain compliance with all credentialing requirements and hospital policies Collaborate with hospital staff to ensure patient safety and quality care Quickly facilitate privileging process to meet urgent start dates What You Need: Active medical license in New Mexico DEA registration Board Certified or recent residency completion (within 3-5 years), BE acceptable Current BLS, PAL, ACLS, ATLS certifications Excellent communication and teamwork skills Ability to commit to scheduled shifts and credentialing timelines About the Assignment: This locum Pediatric Hospitalist position offers inpatient coverage at a welcoming hospital in Hobbs, NM. The schedule is call-only, providing flexibility and work-life balance while supporting a busy pediatric unit. Immediate privileging is required to meet the urgent start date.
