About the Role

The Company is seeking a President to lead its mechanical platform through a significant growth phase. This role is not just about managing a single business; it is a strategic position focused on building a substantial mechanical division with a target of over $100M. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving both organic growth and operational improvement, as well as playing a key role in the integration of future acquisitions. The ideal candidate for this role is a proven operator with experience in leading a meaningful HVAC business, full P&L responsibility, and a strong background in HVAC services, particularly in the residential sector. Experience in a PE-backed or professionally run corporate environment is essential, as is a track record of growth, execution, and organizational improvement. Success in this role is defined by the ability to deliver significant growth, improve EBITDA, and establish a clear and effective organizational structure. The President will be expected to increase accountability, operating discipline, and marketing effectiveness, as well as to create stronger recruiting and succession processes. The role offers the opportunity to build something much larger than the current business, with a clear path to broader platform leadership. The ideal candidate will have a strong reputation for delivering results and the ability to lead both people and performance. While experience in residential new construction is beneficial, it is not essential if the candidate demonstrates strong leadership in HVAC services.
