Lawton, OK | ️ 13 Weeks | Certified Surgical Technologist – Evenings

Seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) for a 13-week travel assignment. This role is ideal for a CST with strong Operating Room experience who is committed to maintaining a sterile environment and supporting the surgical team throughout all phases of patient care.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and maintain sterile fields for surgical procedures
Scrub and assist surgeons during a variety of operative cases
Prepare, organize, and manage surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment
Perform accurate sponge, needle, and instrument counts
Ensure patient safety through proper site verification, fire safety checks, and equipment readiness
Safely pass instruments and sharps while maintaining sterile technique
Clean and prepare operating rooms according to established protocols

Requirements:

Active Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential
Current BLS Certification
Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room/Scrub Tech experience
Strong knowledge of sterile technique and surgical safety practices

Assignment Details:

Evening Shift: Monday–Friday, 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
36 guaranteed hours per week
No on-call requirements
Holiday coverage required
Allscripts EMR experience preferred
