Registered Nurse - NICU

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide specialized neonatal nursing care in a Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, supporting vulnerable newborns with complex needs. Deliver exceptional patient care through clinical expertise and compassionate support to families.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor neonatal patients to identify their medical and emotional needs.
• Administer treatments and medications following established protocols and nursing standards.
• Collaborate with neonatologists, NNPs, and other healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans.
• Document patient progress, care interventions, and clinical data accurately and thoroughly.
• Educate families on newborn care, discharge instructions, and ongoing health management.
• Maintain compliance with certification requirements and hospital policies.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with NICU experience of at least 2 years preferred.
• Current BLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications.
• Demonstrated expertise in managing neonatal patients, including those in SCN.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, 24/7 clinical environment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
