Sustaining Engineer

Renowned for its groundbreaking innovations in multipoint and deadbolt locking, Securitech ASSA ABLOY prides itself in being a “Go-To” high-security door hardware manufacturer, meeting the strictest of standards & developing specialized solutions for customers.From schools and behavioral healthcare facilities to worldwide retailers, government institutions, and infrastructure, Securitech’s proven lock security solutions provide for a unique niche across industries and markets.We are seeking to hire a Sustaining Engineer who will specialize in product design and development, prototyping, packaging, documentation and sustaining engineering that support both the most cost-effective production and the highest quality delivery of products to customers.What you will be doing:Willingness to work all projects to closure and make the team successful no matter what it takesAptitude for creative approaches to efficiency gains in engineering support Develop design improvements that reduce cost and or improve performance Populate and release Engineering Change NoticesPrepare and populate product BOM in ERP systemDevelop, coordinate, or monitor all aspects of production, including selection of manufacturing methods, fabrication, or operation of product designsAd hoc projects and assignments as neededTravel up to 15%What we are looking for:Experience in Mechanical Engineering or related fieldProficiency in Solidworks, MS Office, PDM and ERP systemsStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze and resolve engineering challengesStrong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyAbility to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality resultsExcellent teamwork skillsWhat we Offer!We believe in creating opportunities and providing benefits that empower you to grow, thrive, and build a rewarding lifelong career with us.
