Registered Nurse - Lead for Labor & Delivery

Location: San Luis Obispo, CA

Contract Duration: 13 weeks

Compensation: $2169 - $2614 | Shift: 3x12 Nights

In the role of Labor & Delivery Nurse Lead, you will be instrumental in delivering top-notch care to mothers and their newborns. Your leadership and expertise will guide the team through challenging yet rewarding scenarios, significantly impacting the lives of patients and their families.

• Oversee and direct the Labor & Delivery team during night shifts
• Ensure compliance with clinical protocols and safety regulations
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes
• Maintain precise and timely documentation
• Engage in staff training and professional development
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a relevant setting
• At least 2 years of supervisory experience required
• Experience as a Charge Nurse is mandatory
• Required certifications: NRP, ACLS, BLS, AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring (within the last 2 years)
