Schedule:

• Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 7:30 AM – 5:30 PT / Tuesday, Thursday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Pay Rate: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour, commensurate with experience

Position Overview

Our client is seeking a dependable and experienced Warehouse Operations candidate for a temp-to-hire opportunity at their import/export company. This role combines transportation logistics coordination with warehouse leadership responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have experience arranging freight transportation, coordinating deliveries and pickups, and helping maintain organization and efficiency within a busy warehouse environment. Candidate must be English/Spanish bilingual.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule long-distance and local transportation hauls for incoming and outgoing shipments.

• Work with carriers, drivers, and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation solutions.

• Utilize company software to schedule trucks and manage delivery routes (training provided).

• Assist with daily warehouse operations, ensuring workflow remains organized and efficient.

• Provide leadership and direction to warehouse personnel as needed.

• Monitor shipping schedules, shipment status, and transportation documentation.

• Communicate effectively with internal teams regarding shipment timelines and operational priorities.

• Help identify and implement process improvements to maintain an organized warehouse environment.

• Support inventory movement and material handling activities when necessary.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in transportation logistics, dispatching, freight coordination, or warehouse operations required.

• Knowledge of coordinating both local and long-haul transportation preferred.

• Ability to collaborate with warehouse staff in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

• Comfortable learning and utilizing scheduling and logistics software systems.

• Forklift experience is required, certification is a plus.

• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work in a warehouse environment.

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift materials as needed throughout the workday.

• Must be able to safely operate warehouse equipment when required.

Additional Requirements

• Pre-employment drug screening is required.

• Due to forklift operation and safety-sensitive responsibilities, the drug screen includes THC testing.
  

Pay Details: $20.00 to $25.00 per hour
