TSE Industries, a family-owned manufacturer in Tampa, FL, seeks a Buyer to support procurement of materials and services for custom plastics and rubber production. In this role, you will source and qualify suppliers, negotiate pricing and terms, manage purchase orders, and monitor inventory to support on‑time, quality-focused manufacturing. You will collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams, track vendor performance, and drive cost and process improvements. This position offers growth in technical purchasing skills within a stable, safety- and customer-focused environment. Key Responsibilities Source and purchase raw materials, components, and services for manufacturing operations Evaluate and negotiate with suppliers on price, quality, and delivery terms Issue purchase orders, track deliveries, and resolve discrepancies with vendors Analyze inventory levels and coordinate with production to maintain optimal stock Monitor supplier performance and support vendor qualification and audits Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams on material specifications Review demand forecasts and support cost reduction initiatives Maintain accurate purchasing records and ensure compliance with company policies Support continuous improvement in procurement processes and systems Report on key purchasing metrics to management Core Competencies Strategic sourcing Supplier negotiation Purchase order management Inventory management MRP/ERP systems Cost analysis Supply chain coordination Contract and terms review Data analysis and reporting Vendor performance management Benefits Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Qualifications Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) – preferred APICS/ASCM CPIM or CSCP – preferred Experience with manufacturing MRP/ERP systems Background in industrial, plastics, or rubber manufacturing procurement – a plus #J-18808-Ljbffr Reporter Newspapers
