Job Description
We are looking for experienced Lead Teacher for our Preschool classes at The Goddard School of Burlington. This person would be responsible for establishing and maintaining a safe, healthy and nurturing learning environment. The teachers are responsible for developing age-appropriate lesson plans following curricular and stimulating young and curious minds.
Educational Qualifications:
• An Associate degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education or a related field.
Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain a safe, healthy and nurturing learning environment
- Develop lesson plans to advance children’s physical and intellectual competence
- Support each child’s social and emotional development and provide positive guidance
- Establish positive and effective relations with parents
- Ability to multitask and work well with others
Qualifications:
- Associate or BA in Early Childhood Education or related field or Child Development Associate
- At least 2 year experience working with children in a center
