Bartender – Wet Dog Tavern

About the Role

Wet Dog Tavern is seeking an experienced, energetic, and service-focused Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate is skilled in mixing a wide range of cocktails, providing exceptional customer service, and thriving in a fast-paced tavern environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve high-quality cocktails, beer, wine, and other beverages with consistency and accuracy
• Provide prompt, friendly, and attentive service to guests
• Manage bar operations during shifts, including restocking, prepping garnishes, and maintaining cleanliness
• Multitask effectively while handling multiple drink orders and customer needs simultaneously
• Maintain a calm and professional demeanor under pressure, especially during peak hours
• Handle cash and POS transactions accurately
• Uphold food and beverage safety standards
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth overall service

Requirements

• Proven bartender experience, including cocktail mixing and recipe knowledge
• Previous serving experience in a bar, tavern, or restaurant setting
• Strong multitasking abilities and the ability to stay composed under pressure
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Basic knowledge of bar equipment and POS systems
• Must be 21+

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of classic, contemporary, and signature cocktails
• Experience in a high-volume bar environment
• Ability to recommend drinks and upsell effectively
