This role focuses on food deliveries to restaurants, hospitals, schools, and offices throughout New England. The position is temp-to-perm and offers consistent support through TransForce.Pay & SchedulePay Rate: $300 per dayHours: 40 hours per weekSchedule: Monday through Saturday; Saturday work will rotate once fully staffedStart Time: 4:30 a.m.Employment Type: Temp-to-permJob DetailsRoute Type: Local delivery routeFreight: Ambient, refrigerated, and frozen food productsDelivery Locations: Restaurants, hospitals, schools, and officesEquipment: Automatic tractors with 28- to 35-foot trailersHandling: Heavy-touch deliveries using a hand truck, hand cart, or pallet jackAverage Stops: 10 to 14 stops per dayDelivery Conditions: Unloading may involve stairs and basement accessKey ResponsibilitiesOperate a CDL A tractor-trailer safely on local delivery routes throughout New England.Deliver food products to restaurants, hospitals, schools, offices, and other customer locations.Safely load, unload, and handle ambient, refrigerated, and frozen products.Use hand trucks, hand carts, and pallet jacks to complete deliveries.Navigate stairs, basements, and other delivery-site conditions as needed.Complete approximately 10 to 14 delivery stops per day.Maintain a professional and service-focused approach with customers.Minimum RequirementsValid CDL A.2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.Clean Motor Vehicle Record, with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.Must be at least 21 years old.Ability to safely lift and move heavy items.BenefitsCompetitive weekly pay.Medical, dental, and vision insurance.Paid time off.401(k) retirement plan.Referral program.Why Work With TransForceAt TransForce, drivers come first.
