Powering a new electric world for a brighter, more secure future. Job Description The Production Support Technician willbe responsible forsupporting the Blast and Brake Forming areas. This rolewillprovide safe andtimelymovement, storage, and organization of materials throughout the productionfloor to support maximized efficiency and reduce downtime for machine operators. This role requiresasafety-firstmindset, with strict adherence to all safety protocols and a proactive approach tomaintainingaclean,organized, and hazard-free work environment. The Production Support Techniciandemonstratesstrongownershipmentality, taking full responsibility for their work area,anticipatingteam needs, and contributing to continuousimprovement and overall production flow. Accountabilities Deliver raw materials and components to Blast and Brake forming operators as needed Remove finished or processed materials from workstations andrelocateto theappropriate areas Transport work sections between staging areas and active workstations Organize andmaintainstaging areas with clear job number identification Clean and clear workstations of debris, preparing them for the next cycle or process Ability to read and understand work orders, production tags, labels, and basic schematics Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Required Knowledge/Experience 1+years experiencein a material handling, warehouse, or manufacturing support role Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification Basic math and inventory skills Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Education High School Diploma/GED,Required Physical Requirements Typical of a Manufacturing/Warehouse floor. May be cold in winter, warm in summer. Noise level commensurate with machine operation, fork trucks, general industrial activity. Possess basic tools including gear wrenches, impact gun, torque wrenches, metric & standard sockets. Prolonged periods of standing, squatting, kneeling may be necessary. Regularly required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift up to 50lbs. Must be able to read, understand basic schematic/ blueprint. Must be able to communicate effectively using phones or computer software. Must be able to access and navigate each department at the assigned facilities. Must be able to travel between MCG locations as needed, some travel could require overnight stays.
