This position is responsible for clinical oversight of assigned staff and assists Center Director with administrative duties as needed within the center. The position also provides direct clinical services to clients. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Carries an active caseload and or performs direct clinical services for minimum of 2 days per week. Mentors the clinical Substance Abuse staff to increase their clinical effectiveness, productivity and therapeutic skills. In coordination with the Center Director, TL assists with the development, use, analysis, and feedback of clinical performance measurement indicators, processes, audits and assures all paperwork, billing tickets and documentation is completed in a timely manner. Assists in ensuring strict compliance with all professional standards, Medicaid and Medicare regulations, agency policies and procedures. Provides in-service training as appropriate, delivers clinical education programs, provides best practices training to staff, and also participates in agency-wide training programs/in-services. Participates in the selection, hiring and performance evaluation of clinical staff. Other duties as assigned by supervisor. Units Billed Minimum Requirement: To be determined by Center Director. Minimum 40% of expected clinician case load. Special Attributes Strong psychosocial, clinical assessment skills. Requires minimal supervision regarding use of time, able to prioritize work assignments. Ability to communicate effectively with professionals and clients/families. Ability to make sound decisions in emergency situations. Supervisory Responsibilities Provide on-site clinical supervision to all Substance Abuse staff. Education and/or Experience Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or related field, from an accredited college or university. Three to five years of clinical practice experience in substance abuse. Prefer 1 year of supervisory experience. Must be Licensed or Certified in Area of Practice: Licensed Clinical Social Worker and/or Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist. #J-18808-Ljbffr
