Assistant Property Manager - The Point at Dunn Loring Salary Range: $28.50/hr. (Potential Quarterly 10% bonus) Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM Lunch Break: Must be taken before 2:00 PM Monthly Weekend Requirement: Only when the 6th falls on a Saturday or Sunday Rent Week Coverage: The 5th is the final day for residents to pay rent, so on-site coverage is required on the 6th Primary Responsibilities for the Assistant Property Manager: Assist the Property Manager on the day-to-day operations while guiding an onsite team that includes an assistant property manager, leasing consultant, maintenance supervisor, maintenance technician, and floating maintenance technician. Work closely with the Property Manager and onsite leasing team to achieve leasing, marketing, and operational targets, focusing on occupancy and retention objectives. Collaborate with the management and maintenance teams to provide top-quality service to residents. Prepare resident correspondence related to rents and community compliance matters. Cultivate and maintain strong resident relationships through regular communication, ongoing outreach events, and effective problem-solving. Prepare regular financial reports and account statements. Monitor resident accounts in partnership with the Property Manager. Ensure an accurate and effective leasing process with the leasing team. Monitor and strategically evaluate current market trends with a focus on competitor performance and promotions. Property Details – The Point at Dunn Loring Class A property with 628 units, located steps from the Dunn Loring Metro Station. Dedicated onsite management and maintenance. Candidate Requirements Valid driver's license. Proficient English reading and communication skills. Strong people skills and a commitment to providing exceptional resident service. High school diploma or GED equivalent. Thoughtful leadership skills to foster a supportive onsite team. Minimum 1–2 years of experience as an Assistant Property Manager. Knowledge of multi-family financial processes. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and industry software platforms. Knowledge of local, state, and federal legislation. Experience with ADU/WDU programs. Positive, can-do attitude. Successful completion of background and drug screening.
