Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Rotating Shifts (Days and Nights, 4x12-Hour Shifts) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) setting across rotating day and night shifts
• May be required to float to NICU and Acute Care Pediatrics based on staffing needs
• Adhere to unit scheduling requirements, including 3 weekends per six-week schedule and 2 out of 3 winter holidays
• Maintain compliance with all facility policies, including floating within scope of practice as needed
• Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records

Required Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN license or Virginia RN license pending (must be in hand by the Wednesday before start date)
• BLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• Epic experience required
• Nursys verification required at time of submission
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Pediatric cardiac experience
• BSN preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience in a pediatric critical care setting
