IT Support Specialist I

We are looking for a full-time IT Support Specialist I who is a robust team player. Position is based in Marion County and covers 5 sites in Marion, Citrus and Sumter counties and requires daily travel. Perks health insurance (medical, dental, vision) FREE medical co-pays paid time off eight paid holidays company paid life insurance and short term disability Primary Responsibilities Provide helpdesk support and resolve problems to the end user’s satisfaction Monitor and respond quickly and effectively to requests received through the IT helpdesk Monitor project timelines and perform project related tasks Strong documentation skills related to projects and operational procedures Install, test and configure new PC’s, software and network devices Maintain inventory of all equipment, software and software licenses Report issues to the Network Administrator for escalation Manage PC setup and deployment for new employees using standard hardware, images and software Working knowledge of Active Directory, Exchange and other Microsoft platforms Working knowledge of Ethernet cabling, Routers and Switches Qualifications Associate degree in computer science or; Two or more years of experience as a computer support specialist Strong interpersonal skills Ability to work without supervision Technical Documentation skills Required Skillsets Microsoft Windows 11 support MS Office and common application support Printing and connectivity support Working knowledge of Active Directory, Exchange and other Microsoft platforms Working knowledge of Ethernet cabling, Routers and Switches Additional Useful Skillsets Microsoft HyperV virtualization support Microsoft Exchange 2013+ Microsoft Active Directory Microsoft GPO managementMicrosoft WSUS support DFS and Print Services support HP Server/SAN support Cisco Route and Switch support Zoom Phone Platforms Spiceworks Support Commensurate With Certifications And Experience Commensurate With Certifications And Experience.
