Sales Engineer – Maintenance, Reliability & Operations

Advance CNC Machining – Grove City, Ohio
$80,000 Base Salary + Commission + Bonus

We're looking for a proactive Sales Engineer who takes initiative, is proactive, and driven. We want someone who’s independent, a problem solver, strong at retaining information, and forward thinking.

What You'll Do

This is not a role where success means answering emails and waiting for business. You'll be out in the field creating it.

• Identify facilities that are a strong fit for Advance CNC’s MRO capabilities
• Develop relationships
• Identify recurring maintenance problems
• Help customers solve emergencies and planned MRO needs
• Educating customers about our 24/7 emergency service
• Travel regularly throughout your territory

Compensation & Benefits

• $80,000 base salary + commission + bonus
• 401(k) with a generous 100% employer match up to $5,200 per year
• 80 hours PTO in your first year, increasing annually up to 200 hours
• 6 paid holidays

What You Bring

The right Sales Engineer enjoys projects, is collaborative, assertive, independent, and strong at retaining information.

Skills & Experience Needed:

• Proven sales or business development experience, preferably in manufacturing, industrial, MRO, or a technical environment
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to prospect, develop opportunities, and close business
• Technical aptitude and the ability to understand customer problems and translate them into solutions
• Ability to work independently and manage a territory effectively
• Strong negotiation and presentation skills
• Machining or manufacturing experience is a plus
• Engineering or technical degree is a plus
