Job Description

Job Summary:
Operates computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce detailed cross-sectional images for diagnostic purposes. Assists in performing various imaging procedures including general radiography and fluoroscopy to support patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Operate CT imaging equipment and perform imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols.
• Produce high-quality sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation.
• Use PACS and teleradiology systems to transfer images securely and accurately.
• Maintain detailed records, files, and billing information consistent with hospital policies.
• Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and manage supply inventory of imaging equipment.
• Adhere to HIPAA, patient confidentiality, and safety standards during all imaging activities.

Qualifications:

• Hold an associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or higher.
• Be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-R)(CT) or (R).
• Possess ARRT-Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT) certification.
• Have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor.
• Maintain licensure or certification in fluoroscopy and venipuncture as applicable in state of employment.
• Demonstrate proficiency in equipment maintenance, patient positioning, and imaging quality standards.
