Experienced HVAC Installer

As an HVAC Installer, you will lead jobs, crews, and projects alongside other HVAC installers and apprentices. Holding either a Mechanical Journeyman or Unlimited Mechanical Contractor license, you will play a crucial role in the success of our projects, primarily focusing on new residential and multi-family construction.

Responsibilities

• Install, modify, inspect, repair, and maintain HVAC equipment according to Oklahoma and National Mechanical Codes.
• Directly supervise apprentices and junior installers on-site, ensuring all work meets state safety and quality standards.
• Identify hazards and safety problems applicable to the installation and operations of HVAC projects and take immediate corrective action.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, building and maintaining schedules to meet strict deadlines.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications to ensure accurate installation.
• Complete quality control sheets and documentation for municipal inspections.

Qualifications

• Licensing: Must possess a valid Mechanical Journeyman or Mechanical Contractor license from the Oklahoma Construction Industries Board (CIB). (Limited or Unlimited classification).
• Certification: Must hold a current EPA Section 608 Certification for safe refrigerant handling.
• Experience: Proven leadership skills with the ability to empower and train individuals within your team.
• Technical Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of local Oklahoma municipality codes and the International Mechanical Code (IMC).
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for professional collaboration with builders, general contractors, and project managers.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Availability: Ability to work 6 AM to 5 PM Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays as project demands require.
• General: Valid driver's license and a strong, consistent work ethic.
