Contract | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Night Shift (3x12 Hours, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-risk Labor and Delivery unit, including management of inductions and high-risk antepartum patients
• Deliver nursing care across OB Triage, LDR rooms, OR suites, and PACU as needed
• Monitor and assess third-trimester testing patients and manage an active triage patient influx
• Float to like units within the facility or affiliate locations as needed to meet staffing needs
• Participate in charge nurse responsibilities; charge experience preferred or training provided
• Work two out of three major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's)

Required Qualifications

• Active Alaska RN license (pending license accepted at time of submission; license must be in hand for offer; must be able to complete AK RN license application within 48 hours of signing)
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate, and AWHONN Advanced
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health records
• Candidate's permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility (no locals accepted)
• Must be willing to float within the hospital or to affiliate facilities within scope of practice

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Charge nurse experience in a Labor and Delivery or similar OB setting
• Experience in a high-volume, high-risk OB environment including triage and antepartum care
