Senior Accounting Analyst (Charlotte)

Carolina PRG is partnering with a multimillion-dollar manufacturer that is part of a billion-dollar global company to find an Senior Accounting Analyst . This role will support accurate financial reporting, analyze manufacturing results, and work closely with the accounting and operations teams.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end close, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Analyze inventory, production costs, and operating expenses; investigate variances and explain findings.
• Partner with plant and finance teams to ensure transactions are recorded accurately and on time.
• Prepare recurring reports and identify trends or discrepancies that need attention.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and continuous improvement projects.
• Help strengthen accounting processes and internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• At least three years of accounting or financial analysis experience; manufacturing experience is required.
• Strong Excel skills and experience working with an ERP system (SAP/4Hanna).
• Solid understanding of general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Ability to communicate findings clearly and collaborate with colleagues across the business.
