We are seeking an experienced Audio Visual Engineer to provide technical expertise, engineering support, and operational ownership for audiovisual systems, Microsoft Teams Rooms, conference rooms, auditoriums, broadcasting environments, and corporate event spaces.

This role is responsible for designing, deploying, maintaining, monitoring, and troubleshooting AV systems across the organization. The Audio Visual Engineer will support day-to-day conference room operations as well as high-visibility executive meetings, All Hands, town halls, live events, and corporate broadcasts.

The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with AV engineering, Microsoft Teams Rooms, broadcast technology, live event production, signal flow, audio/video systems, and auditorium environments , with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems and provide real-time support during critical events.

Key Responsibilities

Microsoft Teams Rooms & Conference Room Management

• Manage and support the organization's Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR) environment , including room configuration, device management, monitoring, troubleshooting, and lifecycle management
• Administer and maintain MTR devices, consoles, room controllers, cameras, microphones, speakers, displays, and associated peripherals
• Monitor the health and availability of conference rooms and proactively identify device failures, connectivity issues, and degraded room performance
• Perform MTR provisioning, configuration, firmware updates, software updates, and device replacements
• Troubleshoot Microsoft Teams Rooms issues involving Teams, Windows, networking, peripherals, audio, video, room controls, and device connectivity
• Establish and maintain conference room technology standards to provide a consistent user experience across meeting spaces
• Conduct regular room health checks, preventive maintenance, and proactive remediation
• Support conference room technology refreshes, new room deployments, migrations, and decommissioning of legacy equipment
• Maintain accurate documentation of MTR configurations, room hardware, device inventory, and technical standards
• Partner with Global Corporate Services Team on conference room construction, renovations, room naming, scheduling, and technology requirements

AV Engineering & Systems Support

• Design, install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot professional AV systems across conference rooms, collaboration spaces, auditoriums, and event environments
• Provide Tier 2/3 technical support for complex audiovisual systems and collaborate with manufacturers and AV integrators on advanced issues
• Support AV platforms and technologies including Crestron, Logitech, Microsoft Teams Rooms, digital signal processors, video distribution systems, control systems, and room automation
• Troubleshoot complex audio, video, control, signal flow, and connectivity issues
• Perform system testing, commissioning, preventive maintenance, firmware updates, and equipment upgrades
• Develop and maintain AV system standards, documentation, schematics, configurations, and standard operating procedures
• Participate in AV infrastructure projects, including room builds, technology refreshes, system migrations, and major AV upgrades
• Evaluate new AV technologies and recommend solutions that improve reliability, scalability, and the user experience

Broadcasting & Live Event Support

• Provide broadcast engineering and live production support for All Hands, town halls, executive presentations, company meetings, and other high-visibility events
• Support live streaming and broadcast workflows, including cameras, video switching, audio mixing, presentation feeds, recording, encoding, and streaming platforms
• Configure and operate broadcast and event-production equipment before and during live events
• Perform pre-event technical testing, rehearsals, equipment staging, signal checks, and system validation
• Provide real-time troubleshooting during live broadcasts and events to minimize disruption
• Support integration of presentation, video, audio, conferencing, and broadcast systems into a unified production environment
• Coordinate with Corporate Communications, event organizers, executives, EAs, Facilities, external AV vendors, and production teams
• Maintain broadcast and event equipment readiness and ensure critical systems are tested and operational prior to events

Auditorium Support

• Own the technical readiness and operational support of corporate auditoriums and large event spaces
• Support auditorium audio reinforcement, microphones, cameras, displays, projectors, video walls, confidence monitors, presentation systems, and control systems
• Support live presentations, executive events, town halls, All Hands meetings, and company-wide broadcasts
• Troubleshoot auditorium AV systems during live events and provide immediate technical response
• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, testing, and system validation of auditorium equipment
• Coordinate with external AV production companies, integrators, and equipment vendors for major events and system upgrades
• Maintain auditorium documentation, system diagrams, equipment inventories, and operating procedures

The pay range below is for Bay Area California only. Actual salary may vary based on a number of factors including job location, job-related knowledge, skills, experiences, trainings, etc. We also offer incentive opportunities that reward employees based on individual and company performance.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Audiovisual Technology, Broadcast Technology, Electronics, Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience
• 5+ years of professional experience in AV engineering, audiovisual systems, unified communications, broadcast, or live event production
• Hands-on experience managing and supporting Microsoft Teams Rooms
• Strong understanding of AV signal flow, audio/video distribution, networking, and system troubleshooting
• Experience with AV control systems such as Crestron, Logitech, or similar platforms
• Experience supporting professional audio, video, conferencing, and presentation systems
• Experience supporting auditoriums, large meeting spaces, corporate events, or live broadcasts
• Ability to troubleshoot complex AV systems under time-sensitive and high-pressure conditions
• Strong communication, customer service, and presentation/event support skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with broadcast production and live streaming
• Experience with video switchers, audio mixers, DSPs, cameras, wireless microphone systems, encoders/decoders, and recording systems
• Experience with Crestron programming or configuration
• Experience with Microsoft Teams Rooms administration and monitoring
• Experience supporting executive briefing centers, auditoriums, or large corporate event venues
• Experience with digital signage and room scheduling systems
• Experience working with AV integrators, manufacturers, and external production vendors
• AV industry certifications such as CTS, CTS-D, CTS-I, or equivalent
• Experience developing AV standards, engineering documentation, system diagrams, and technical specifications

• May require lifting, moving, staging, and installation of AV and event-production equipment
