Job Summary Specialty: Radiology Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 06/29/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Hours per week: 36 Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Responsibilities As a Rad Tech, you will be responsible for the use of diagnostic imaging equipment, ensuring that images are accurate and passed on to physicians for medical interpretation. Rad Techs also prepare and care for patients undergoing radiologic testing. Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests and explain imaging procedures to patients, providing reassurance and support as required. Follow orders from physicians regarding which area of the patient’s body needs imaging. Correctly position the patient and adjust the imaging equipment to appropriate position. Prevent unnecessary radiation exposure both to yourself and to the patient by taking appropriate protection precautions. Calibrate imaging equipment. Prepare results for physicians to review. Maintain accurate patient records. Understand and use the McKesson PACS system. Requirements Minimum 1 year of experience as a radiology technologist; BLS, ARRT (R) National Certification, and state-specific licensing when required. Must be able to stand, walk, bend, lean, or stoop for long periods. Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. Additional certifications may be required before assignment. Compensation Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined. #J-18808-Ljbffr
