OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST-PRN

LifeBridge Health is seeking a compassionate and adaptable OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST-PRN to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team. As a key member of our interdisciplinary care team, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered occupational therapy services on an as-needed basis across our continuum of care, which may include hospital, outpatient, and community-based settings. In this PRN role, you will perform comprehensive evaluations, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based interventions designed to improve functional independence, safety, and quality of life for patients of diverse ages and backgrounds.

You will collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, physical therapists, speech therapists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, holistic care that reflects LifeBridge Health’s commitment to collaboration, innovation, and community engagement. Your responsibilities will include assessing patients’ functional abilities, setting measurable goals, providing therapeutic activities and exercises, training patients in activities of daily living and use of adaptive equipment, and educating patients and families on home programs and safe techniques to support ongoing recovery.

The OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST-PRN will be responsible for timely and accurate clinical documentation within the electronic medical record, participating in discharge planning, and making recommendations for continued services or equipment needs. You will apply sound clinical judgment, follow established protocols and regulatory standards, and maintain infection prevention and safety practices at all times. Because this is a PRN position, you will have the flexibility to accept shifts based on department needs, which may include weekdays, weekends, and holidays, supporting various units or locations as census and acuity fluctuate.
