About the Role

The Company is in search of a Chief Supply Chain Officer (CSCO) to lead the strategic vision, planning, and coordination of its supply chain program and operations. The successful candidate will be tasked with modernizing the supply chain within a clinically sophisticated organization, with a focus on elevating value and meeting the needs of the clinical, operational, quality, and financial objectives. This leadership role requires a proven track record in supply chain management, including contracting, logistics, and technology implementations, preferably within a complex health system. The CSCO will be responsible for fostering a service-oriented department, leading positive change, and establishing strong relationships with clinical and operational leaders. Additionally, the role involves managing external supplier relationships and developing strategic partnerships to ensure optimal value for the organization. The ideal CSCO for the company will have a background in supply chain management within a health system, teaching hospital, or academic medical center, and will fully embrace best practices in the field. They must possess highly developed interpersonal qualities, a strategic mindset, and strong leadership skills to enhance supply chain functions and support the organization's mission. The role also includes the responsibility of talent assessment and development within the supply chain team, with an emphasis on accountability and performance. The CSCO will serve as a trusted strategic partner to the executive team and will be expected to bring a combination of deep technical expertise, strategic vision, and strong leadership capabilities to build and lead high-performing teams.
